I just went on their website. They have 6 different patterns. I think it's easier trying to pick out a cereal in the cereal aisle at Wally World. Or toothpaste for that matter! The "erzeberg" seems to be made for Antarctica.

Way easier than singles. Stay on the tires better too. No need for bungee cords and other fancy gimicks if you get them on nice and tight.
Plus you only gotta throw 2 triples for the same result as 4 singles.mtoo, God prefers Diesels, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
When the upslope moisture flow starts, you really don't have any choice with those kind of snowfall rates. I've seen it where you're fighting for enough traction even chained at MAX, that stuff is so wet, dense and deep.

What does one GAIN by driving in those conditions?blairandgretchen and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

Do I buy a set for the trailer too? Or will a single do for the drag? Another question: Is there an advantage to using the "non-cam" style? Do they have these with cams?
-
The cams help you get them on good and tight
-
Yes, I prefer cams. I was just wondering why they would sell them WITHOUT cams. I just found one company that sells these Triggs. They want $1160 each. I think they are barking up the wrong bush.Oxbow Thanks this.

I don't know why anybody would use chains without the camlock tighteners. We had a few old singles around here without them and they just hung on the chain rack all winter 'cause nobody would use them. I finally had the shop guy cut the cross links off for spares.
When you get a tightener handle...two is better so you have a spare...paint them a real bright orange or pink or bright red so when you drop it in the snow you'll see it.blairandgretchen, God prefers Diesels, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
They both have their moments. I wouldn't dismiss either one lightly.
There are worse places out here but most of the members never go there.God prefers Diesels, gekko1323, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this.
