After reading through the reviews I thought it was a good idea, to warn people about 10 roads and yes I am a driver for this company. 99.9% of the bad reviews on 10 roads is 100% true The only positive thing I can say about this company is when I'm going home at the end of the day. And for the person that said older drivers do better at this company I am an older driver the bottom line they discriminate against older and younger drivers.. and for management, what management it's the blind leading the blind and it is true drivers are leaving this company faster than they can find anyone to replace them, seems drivers are finally doing reviews on this company and believing all the negatives, you are a doormat for them to wipe their feet on and yes they will try to get you to drive unsafe vehicles and if you do it's all on you I know this from experience and if I had to guess any of the positive reviews on this company are probably from management trying to hide the truth of 10 roads of hell. This is as honest as I could be, and as the date of this post I am still a driver here but not for very long may God be with you that don't believe this post

The Great Lakes region is officially in my opinion, a train wreck. They have gotten so heavy handed and obnoxious in their treatment of drivers the turnover is far greater than it has ever been. It's a real shame. This was a really good company just a few years ago. You came in, did your job and went home. Also you didn't mind doing a little extra because it was appreciated. Now they are pressed to get anyone to do extra. They crap on a driver 5 days a week and then ask him to work a 6th. They got kahonas. I got to the point I wouldn't answer the phone even while working. They put in the latest handbook that employees are not required to use their personal phone for company business, so I don't answer. The last 2 posts were spot on. I knew 10 Roads was going to be bad when I started there, but underestimated their incompetence and desire to encourage driver turnover. Which is a shame, as they had the potential to being a decent place to work.
But 10 Roads would be a great place to work if you were the one hiring the constant stream of replacement drivers, that is if you weren't penalized after they left so soon.Last edited: Oct 6, 2022

Do they pay a bonus if you drive on 11 roads while working for them?
JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
No but they will write you up in you only drive on 9 roads.

A driver, who wants to haul mail, cannot go wrong with Alan Ritchey. Super management, top of the line equipment and excellent pay. I have hauled the mail for several companies during my driving career but never have I found a company as Alan Ritchey. I wished I had "stumbled" upon Alan Ritchey years ago.

I got an email from 10 Roads saying they want me back. No way is that going to happen unless they made huge changes.

I worked for Hoovestol back I think in 07. I was hired to turn 2 Black River Falls a night (mail out of Chicago). Sounded good to me. Went a week working in town during the day (Im NOT a day person), finally on Friday after working in town for 7 hours, they sent me to BRF. I sat there 4 hours waiting on my meet guy. Finally a guy from Chicago shows up, but wasnt MY guy. I said tough poop Im taking it because if I wait 15 mins more I will be out of hours (14 hour clock) before I get back. Got back to the yard and said something about it to the folks behind the counter that I was supposed to be running 2 BRFs a night. Oh no, you have to be available 24/7.
Heres my keys -toss-
######## never even paid me for the week.Grouch and Still undecided Thank this. -
