    it is maket share and locking up the parts and service end same reason you can't buy a ford with a gm engine in 5 years you won't be able to buy a paccar with anything but there motor etc....the days of specifying a truck how you want it are about over as it will be there way or no way

    Ok, the truck I was going to buy sold out from under me. So now I am going to get a 2005 Pete 379 with a c-15 475 hp. 3:55 Ratio 24.5 ruber and a 10 speed any idea on fuel economy?

    I had the same truck in 2004/05 except with a 9 speed.It'll be hard to reach 6mpg.

    o.k bought the truck on Thursday. 2005 Pete 379 c-15 with 475 power 3:55 on 24.5 rubber 10 speed. I am on my first run tonight Savannah to Atlanta then back to Savannah tomorrow I will check fuel economy and post for everyone.
