I'm not defending anyone. I'm simply pointing out audio quality that you will never achieve using a cheap Chinese export radio. Your next best choice would be a high end ham rig or an FCC type accepted 4-watt CB radio.

 

Maybe so but I'll have 3 of those cheap exports for 2 or 3 years before anyone sees one from Mark for the same money!

Like I said, people with mediocre expectations are easy to please. You can achieve greater range for less money with a 4 watt radio

Mediocre expectations? Let’s see Pay someone for something I want to use everyday just so they can use the profits to make the exact airwaves I want to use basically unusable for my intended purpose.
