I’m well over 2 a mile if you want to do it right. 2500 a week is running way harder than what I want to. I calculate my per mile rate at 2200 which is easily done. I want to get to where I don’t run but 4 days a week but for now I’m chasing $…….
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I’m at $1.70 a mile for expenses running power only. I’m also only running around 1000 miles a week. Note that this does not include my wage, but every single expense pertaining to the truck and business.

If paying yourself a wage isn’t an expense then what is it?

Paying yourself a wage is Only needed for payroll tax savings.
Looking at it as a real expense is practically senseless. The money changes your business account and enters your private account but you are still the owner of the same money.Pittstruck and LoneRanger Thank this. -

My cost per mile is $42 per hour and .96 cpm.
I'm more of an expense than anything else. Ask my wife.Another Canadian driver and Oxbow Thank this. -
