I can insurance many trucks per month for $2500. You guys are being screwed big time.Another Canadian driver and Canadianhauler21 Thank this. -
Price you pay for leasing on to companies i suppose.
I spoke to insurance about running my own authority. They said new carrier would be looking at 2500 per truckAnother Canadian driver and MartinFromBC Thank this. -
Depends on what we are insuring. A $50,000 load of general freight in a $10,000 dry van beng pulled by a $15,000 tractor I would agree with you.
If we are talking $500,000 load of perishable goods in a $200, 000 reefer being pulled by a $250,000 power unit there is a little more at risk.Another Canadian driver, Canadianhauler21 and EvertonP Thank this. -
How about a million dollar Load, on a $600k trailer, pulled by a 300k truck.Last edited: Oct 17, 2022
