Just was in the middle of replacing the fuel/power steering pump was sold a different 2007 mp7 pump with a bigger gear. Took it back received a correct sized pump however the power steering pump opening was a fine thread instead of a course thread like the old pump. Mack could not find the fitting??? Any ideas?

Picture 3 looks like O-ring boss.
Picture 2 looks German to me and would use a small diameter o-ring. A good hydraulic shop or John Deere may have a fitting for that.

Thanks appreciate everyone's reply. I went to a fabrication shop and had one made. Mack did find one with fine thread, but the output hole was only 5/8. The original was 1". If I did use the 5/8 I would have to change the line and fitting to the reservoir. Question would be how would it affect the output flow?... In anycase it was easier just to have one made...

On the outlet it would have next to no effect in volume moved. Pump will always move X amount of fluid per revolution. It'd just speed up the velocity of the fluid, which creates friction (heat).

I'd bet that fitting you needed was metric or DIN.
