HELP!!! AC/Electrical problem

    Ok I Bought an 05 379 pete about 2 months ago. When I bought it the sleeper AC worked great. Soon as I get it home nothing. Won't blow. Tested line, no power to blower, switch in sleeper doesn't light up. If i have the bunk AC switch on up in front of the truck it turns the whole ac system on (when main ac switch is off and bunk ac switch is on it still blows cold). A Few weeks ago on a warm Texas night i had the truck idling with the ac on and I woke up freezing, the bunk ac was working. It just came on in the middle of the night. It worked all day until I got my wife into the truck to show her how it was miraculously working again and BAM, it hasn't worked again ever since. Anyone know what the deal is???

    Check for an a.c. relay in fuse box by clutch pedal or behind the panel in the bunk. Also check for wires that got pierced at the factory by a screw on assembly. There used to be some fuses behind the panel as well. You could also have an issue with the switch up front not making a good contact to signal the relay

    Check the resistors in the dash behind the ac/heater controls. Intermittent works sounds like a loose wire or loose connections some where check under the bunk at the heater cool to make sure everything looks cool and check resistors on switch in the bunk as well. Keep us posted

    had the same problem before. was the bunk ac relay in the fuse box.

    changed the relay in the fuse box by the clutch. There is one in the bunk somewhere??? You know how the bunk ac button lights up when u turn it on? mine isn't doing anything. If I turn the bunk switch on up front it turns the ac system on just not in the bunk.

    Check www.supermiller.com go to the right side of the page and down to schematics, once you have the wire numbers the plugs for the sleeper wires should be behind the glove box at least they were in the older trucks
