Personally, I don’t like the smell/fumes under the truck. I’d just leave the stack intact and replace the upper piece, if it gets too unsightly. That’s kind of the issue with shiny bits; it shows everything. The fleet stacks up the back of the sleeper aren’t shiny and show nothing.

I know a few ppl have done that. Put a weed burner on so stacks stay looking nice. Nothing to itDiesel Dave Thanks this.

Just curious which way the fumes would travel when taking a 10 or 34 with a weed burner set up. I know there are quite of bit out there…..Siinman Thanks this.

Weed burner with stacks is just wrong. Even having a dummy stack on one side is dumb. Would rather just have a single functional stack.
Diesel Dave and Siinman Thank this. -
I guess when you take pride in your truck and what it looks like people have different opinions. Appreciate the response

I had the single stack up the back of the cab and never smelled anything. Now, I have a weed burner. I smell everything. I hate it. No matter what, some of the fumes will make it inside, somehow. Everyone claims the setup is safe. But, breathing any kind of fumes is NOT safe.Last edited: Oct 23, 2022
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
The urea burners will really screw up a set of stacks, sleeper or trailer when that crap slobbers all over. Keeps everything cleaner with weed burnerDiesel Dave Thanks this.

I would worry too. Especially in a crowded parking lotducnut and Diesel Dave Thank this.
