Yeah, this proves to me at least I'm not with a company that really cares. And that's at 65%? I get 85% here where I'm at but 65% is beating my brakes off all day long. And I'm pulling a flatbed.Another Canadian driver and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
-
65% of linehaul. The fsc, loading, blah, detention all add up at 100%.
Like I say, you'll hear LOT'S OF TALK.Another Canadian driver, Siinman and Stringb8n Thank this. -
That's true. I get nickel and dimed a lot here though. No FSC unless the broker they get the load from specifies there is FSC. Detention? Forget about it usually isn't paid at even a penny. Company I'm with has no customer base. It's all spot market broker loads.Another Canadian driver and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Well we have direct and indirect freight.
Mostly the direct freight is better. Not always.
And you will have to sift through the agents just like everyone else, to separate the scumbags.
There's the big time operators that will DH all over God's Creation. We don't do that.Another Canadian driver, dwells40 and Stringb8n Thank this. -
If you live in the Big D though, with an RGN, I think you'll have 0 problems. Or a flat.
I see those guys with RGN's hauling those MONSTER spools around Houston and stuff.
I really don't think you could miss.Another Canadian driver and Stringb8n Thank this. -
Man I sure hope not. For what it's worth you're kicking my ##* hands down on revenue. I'll probably call and talk to a recruiter tomorrow, or just apply. I read it can take up to 30 days to be approved go through orientation and begin hauling. Just hope they don't give me any grief about my truck. It'll pass a DOT and is ELD complaint just has some cosmetic issues. Dented bumper, crack in the hood.Another Canadian driver and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

As long as it's mechanically sound you're good to go.
The main orientation center is in Fort Worth.
Just fill out their app on line, completely, then give it a bout 2 days and call them.
Yes it will take a solid 3 weeks for you to get to orientation.Another Canadian driver and Stringb8n Thank this. -
I appreciate it Sir. I will apply. Can't stand to lose too much. I get 85% gross here, but that clearly doesn't say much when if we compared settlements you'll probably blow me out of the water every week. 85% of a hill of beans amounts to less beans.Another Canadian driver, dwells40 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

May The OM be with you.Another Canadian driver, Speed_Drums, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.
