Want to move to the Leola, SD area

Company I worked for was HQ in Blackhawk. Spent lots of time around the Rapid City area.
Some beautiful country out that way. When the weather wants to be nasty, it is very nasty. Seems the major roads get cleaned up quickly. Having a good pantry is important.

 

I live in sw mn and have relatives in Watertown and Aberdeen sd. Aberdeen area is the same as most rural sd. Not much going on except hunting and fishing. Wages are poor is sd.

 

Im from SD. Southwest of Mitchell. Great place to live.

 

Lol you're probably gonna say no but I say come check out northeast pa. Cheap living and I can give you some good leads on flatbed shippers around here.

Susquehanna county, Bradford county where you picked up that load of stone at Johnson Quarries.

Not too far from Binghamton, Scranton-WB, Elmira, Williamsport, Hazelton. Quite a few places you could get hooked up direct with. Lot of flatbed freight around here and it's not woke

 

I miss going to willow run and running 17 across the southern teir , that has been gone almost a year now and I'm guessing it's not coming back .

 

I like running out 17 and 390. Been running up that way more lately than dirty jersey. Lots of dot tho on 17 and 390 up to Rochester

 

Cheap real estate in NEPA too compared to a lot of the country. Property taxes aren't bad at all and good schools still out in the country that aren't woke

I live about 100 miles south straight down 281. The worst parts of living in South Dakota is between December and March/April when its cold as hell and you could be up to your ### in snow, and about June to mid September when even the rats say it's too hot to do anything.
