Good luck Jim! You know you can PM me anytime, even just to chat.
By the way, I passed my tests... including a perfect score (0 points against) on the backing test.
I am running team now with my instructor (who kept me on to train me and run team). Things are going great.
Things will go great for you with Maverick too.
God Bless. -
Thanks for the well wishes. Had to plow snow for 2.5 hrs just to be able to drive to the airport.
They sent my bags to orlando florida, so I just have what I am wearing!
So let the fun begin!!!lol
God Bless!

Hey Guys, thanks for all the great info you have provided. Had a question about Prime, a friend and myself have applied to go through the CDL training program and wanted to run team afterwards. I was just wondering do we have to wait till 80k to run team or can we start running right after we hit 60k? Also a second question the Prime website use 6000 as the average for their pay example for team, you know if the teams are actually getting 6000? Thanks in advance!

You're welcome...
Call recruiting. I'd *guess* that they'd want you to wait until you get to the 80k mark. There's a lot of good reasons for that.
Yup. Thats an average. There will be weeks of 4800, and others of over 7000. All depends on the luck of the draw, the point in the yearly freight cycle we're talking about, how the load/unload appointments turn out, and whether or not you get all of your trips scanned in before cutoff on Tuesdays.
With that being said, I know folks weren't getting those kind of miles during the deepest part of the recession. Also, miles relate to pay for company drivers. At Prime, it's about gross revenue to the truck for lease operators.
