    Cat 12, 99E as I recall?

They were a nice finish blade, just need to be committed when applying down force!

It will also teach you to fly if you hit a big
rock while grading a log trucking road.

I'd like to have a dollar for every mile of logging road, spurs, and landings that have been carved out with a 12. The ones we had sure didn't give us much trouble. You couldn't move the whole world with them but a decent operator could get a lot done in a day.
My brother and I were talking about them just the other day. He was mostly a faller but he'd take a day's work on a blade or a Cat if cutting was slow. He said the first time he ran one they just showed him what all the levers did and left him alone to figure it out. Almost everybody I know that ran machinery in the woods started out on a 12.

cke, FerrissWheel, stwik and 8 others Thank this.
