Hi everyone!! My name is Jim, originally from Wisconsin, moved to Oregon in July 2002. I've been a truck nut since I was a toddler, and of course, that carried over to a career as a driver which Started almost 22 years ago. I've had a pretty storied life, besides being a truck driver, I was a volunteer firefighter for Slinger WI, Juneau WI, and Kohlsville WI. When I moved out to Oregon, I became a reserve police officer for the city of Tigard OR. A reserve police officer carries the same weapons, wears the same uniform, writes the same reports (ugh!) and drives the same Crown Vic as the full time officers. Reserve officers only get payed for special events and emergency call outs. In my trucking career, I've been blessed with an almost perfect safety record. I've had one crash in Chicago in 1992, and two speeding violations in 1995, with 2.5 million miles. I've been an owner operator and company driver, both OTR and local. Looking forward to meeting you all, I tend to drive my wife nuts because if there is one thing I like to do is talk trucking when I'm not driving them!!!
