Seems most hospitals have a patient advocate of some sort. Hopefully they have enough knowledge to put you and the family in touch with the right services and agencies to get the support needed.

Never. Haven’t even heard of anything like that happening.
Ol Erik Estrada did one of the worst movies ever made in an attempt to compete with Rocky. It was called “HoneyBoy.” Painful…cannot even began to watch a CHiPs rerun.

The only movie that was worse than HoneyBoy was Leonard Part 6.

 

Sorry this happened to you @PoleCrusher, we all know you did what you could.
Wife and I had a similar, yet not so violent experience.
We had a crackhead neighbor that got attacked 1 night. Di%$$ead ran over to my house tried to beat the door down. I was out of town at the time and she was home alone with 2 very young kids. She was armed and managed to keep the door closed. The neighbor had a vendetta against us after that. We lived in fear for a few months, cops were no help. I hauled him out of his front door one day and beat the snot out of him. Told him we had sold the house and were moving, and he better not even look at my house until we were gone.
We moved out of town into the country. The change of scenery and country life and time healed all.
Another crackhead shot the neighbor 5 weeks after we moved.
Take care and allow everything to heal.

That is insane.. Can't even imagine the horror of that situation..

Hope you & the Wifeski recover physically & mentally from such an ordeal..

Also hope swat beats the living hell out of that ####### when they get him in custody..
