I was telling my wife about you and Hades yesterday. She'd probably like to meet Hades.

Been thinking about you and the war department…

Usually hate to see this word, because 99% of the time it associated with BS, but she’s going to have to be empowered. Have to build her confidence. Otherwise, you will never be able to leave the house. Have any ideas?

Yes. Someone mentioned to us some range time with her pistol might be a good idea. We are also considering a gaurd dog.

This setup doesn’t actually have a center bolt. Instead it’s a big pin about 1 1/4” in diameter (circled in yellow) that the leaf springs set down over. The rubber pad (circled in red) sets on top the leaves and keeps the springs from coming up off the pin.

Rubber pad is worn and allowed the leaf springs to come up enough to slide out of place. Thankfully I was empty, came in with it running dog legged as can be.

Needed a way to pull the axle back forward so I used the winch on my boom truck. It will pull about 7000 lbs or so single line.
Still had to use a hydraulic porta power to add a little more pressure before it slid back in to place. Now to secure it from happening again, that will be in the morning….
