Can expect it in Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and a bunch of others while still new. Mostly so the officers can enter your company info in their system.

Idaho and Ut was hell bent on pulling me in when I first started. Also OP did you get the PrePass set up? If not you should it will help on some of those pulling you in.

I have PrePass. This was the first time I’ve received the red light.

Back when I still had "Farms" as part of my DOT name, I got pulled into a scale at LEAST twice a week for a level 3. By the time I walked in with the cab card, opened it up on the IRP page and the logbook on the counter next to it before they could say anything, the inspections were essentially over at that point. They were looking for an easy OOS, and I wasn't about the give them one.....

I saw that and I didn’t even know that was possible to get that many at once and not get placed Out of Service

clearly that driver has never done a pre trip inspection and has no clue how to use an ELD

no idea what CDL school they attended but they should ask for a refund .

I was just inspected in Maryland(I-95/Adelphi scales)last week myself, same deal-Level 2. Plus the DOT officer had me send an email of my logs to his computer. Officer was very courteous, easy going! No violations, paycheck is going to be a little bigger this week!

    Congrats!!

I got a OOS for one violation . U bolt on the leaf spring that was not as tight as it should be .
Was my fault , a new spring installed a few weeks back and I never took it back to have it re torqued .

This is me driving past the open TN and GA weigh stations last week, nose heavy with apples and fuel tanks full to the brim, green light blazing on the prepass.

Not overkill, thats the bare minimum. Youre clearly organized, knew where everything was. Officers like that
