Waiting on New Trucks thread.

5 identical trucks in different colors tells me someone had some big plans that went to crap by the time the trucks finally showed up. The trucks coming in now were ordered back when you could wake up in the morning and make money without even trying.

 

It's going to be interesting. 3 months ago those trucks would have been sold by the end of the day. Being a 389, I would suspect they will still sell by the end of the month but how many people out there would be willing to commit to a $230K fuel guzzler in this environment? If you aren't paying cash I would suspect the bank would require a 50% downpayment and you'd be carrying a $115K bank note with 12% interest.

I own a couple of 389s and once T680s and 579s start hitting the dealer lots I'm going to seriously consider swapping at least one.

 

5 MPG No one wants one when fuel is 5-8 bucks a gallon.

 

I just talked to a friend last night. Sold a 2018 F350 diesel dually with aftermarket wheels and bald tires. 84,000 miles. Bought for 52K. Sold it in one day for 64K. Had five people wanting to buy it.

 

I hear stories like that all the time but see the exact opposite. Nothing but lowballers.

 

He has a new one ordered. His family falls into money. Sometimes in a scumbag manner. He was handed money, trucks, businesses.

Wow that is fast. What did you end up ordering? Gonna guess you planned a year for the wait?

 

Same trucks as I have now, heavy haul 4 axles, 600 cummins, 1 18 sp, 1 auto 18 to try out.

When I ordered them they told me June - Dec delivery.

 

You can't tell me some mice haven't found a way in yet. I'd be surprised if you opened the doors and it didn't smell.
