I am going to hook up my cb in the stock overhead location. There is a green and a white wire to hook up for power. Which wire is positive and which is ground? I don't want to reverse the polarity and blow my diodes.

I'd agree... green is usually ground. If you have access to a multimeter, you might check for continuity (ohmmeter function) from green to something metal on the truck frame.

Get a voltmeter and check. Run the black on the voltmeter to a good ground and then probe both wires with the red. Which ever shows a 12 VDC reading when you probe it is the hot wire.

Make 120% sure which is which; if you wire up a CB backwards you'll let out the magic smoke and she won't work no-moe.

I have an International 9400i with the overhead in it also. The green and white connectors are green=positive and white= ground in mine and there are a couple of them besides the coax and external speaker. However, if you move the wiring harnesses out of the way yours might have the red and black connector posts like mine does in the back of the box. I didn't see them initially and used the green and white wires until I got a flashlight to see how I was going to get ventilation for my Magnum S-380. I used a couple spade connectors on my cb wiring and it works perfect.

Their is an easier way. Put the ground of your cb to good ground. Take one of the wires from the overhead and hook it to the pos wire on the radio. If it comes on thats the hot wire, if it doesnt , then its the ground wire

FYI, in a Prostar, green wire is hot and white is ground.

Used to running the wiring myself. Would appreciate the help. Yes i made the jump to a newer truck my old one was a 97 freightliner century classic no where near as nice as this.
