Just skated into Gilman, IL. Lucy's closed for the night so had to snag a big mac..

 

Little Brother and I met some friends at a Hooters. Sunday around 6pm. Place was not busy at all. Had a cute little waitress with IMO an ugly attitude.

Little Brother ordered a quesadilla with a side of guacamole and I ordered the philly, no fungus. Everyone gets their food but us. I am waiting for a refill. Finally, she brings the quesadilla out with NO EXAGGERATION a half a teaspoon of guacamole. Guacamole must be scarce! Little Brother questions this and the waitress sighs and says something about taking the charge off the bill. Indeed….

Waitress brings out the checks. “But Six, did you ever get your philly, no fungus???” Nope. This waitress must be smoking hot, to compensate for her lousy service. Ummm, no. I’m out. I look at Little Brother, “I’m going to Longhorn. I’m done here.” I get up and walk out the door.

Little Brother joins me at Longhorn 15 minutes later. “Idiot. You paid for the food.”

“But Six, I first explained to her that it is rude to hand out a check before the food arrives. She didn’t know.”

So, did I overreact? Or is Little Brother a simp?

Heard about that one on the radio last night. All she had to do is get a lock box and declare it at check in.

I would love to hear an explanation for the raw chicken part. That would have to be entertaining.
