Nox Inlet sensor crapped out. Replace right away? Or risk it?

Assuming all of the step bolts come out and don't seize and strip after not having been taken off for 8 years.. wish me luck

 

Well, in that case at least they'll win against the crappy Harbor Freight socket set I'm about to buy, lol

 

Mine's a secondhand 2016 with like 800k miles, i don't think there's been anything even even remotely warranty-like for years.

Also the warranty repair for cheap parts is a mixed bag - save $300, but spend 4 days waiting in a stupid freightliner shop

 

You were right, the steps came right off. Now I'm waiting for the exhaust box to cool off a bit so I can try taking off the sensor.

(I'm sorta doing a dry run in a harbor freight parking lot. Making sure everything comes off and I have all the right tools, so I can go to a freightliner next and do a F1 style 5 minute pit stop there - take off old, buy new with core discount, throw it on and go. Instead of bumbling with rusty bolts and begging them for tools)

 

I'm letting it soak in wd40 for now. Don't know what pb blaster is.
