Anyone with FXF concerned? I’m in Colorado and my station is telling us no one is getting furloughed but it will happen at other stations.

tscottme Thanks this. -
My niece's husband flies for them. He said that the rumors of layoffs in the flight department are very strong. There has already been some route consolidation and aircraft are sitting idle pending transport to storage.
It doesn't look good.tscottme Thanks this. -
Thats either Express or Ground, freight doesn't use airplanes. But they may be doing furloughs also.

My station said we are still 15 short for road drivers and we always pick up ground work during their peak, so it’s extremely unlikely any of our road guys will get furloughed. Pays to work at a Hub I guess, time will tell.

Right before their busiest time of the year ?

This is just going to be another Tuesday for them and they already have everything they needrunningman0661 and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
Its Freight thats doing the Furloughs for right now. Ground and Express do home delivery. Freight does pallet freight delivering to like Walmart Dc, manufacturing plants, ect. Everything is supposed to be over 125lbs.
We do some home delivery but its more like someone ordered tires for there combine or tractor. Or in the spring we will big plastic totes of seed to farmers.GYPSY65 Thanks this. -
I with FXF out of the hub at ATL. They have told us that we are not being affected by the furloughs but other centers are. Freighthauler87 who used to drive out of LRK says that they have absorbed people from the terminal in Conway, Arkansas. Something really weird is going on. I'm starting to get a little spooked because my run that goes from ATL to GSP always runs, but lately has been cut at least twice a week. I've been eyeing other jobs but I don't want to jump ship because I enjoy my job at FXF.

Well guys, my best advice is to tough it out. I won't be any better anywhere else and you'll be at the dead bottom of the seniority list. (Former manager at both FXF and XPO).
Good luck and best wishesJoeyJunk, Big Road Skateboard, Farva and 1 other person Thank this.
