Don't listen to person!! This is either a company ****, or one of the execs at Marten. NO ONE is getting 3200-3600 miles every week these days, unless they're a team, or own their own truck. If you work for Marten, you will sit in Jersey where there's no fuel stops, you will sit in Texas where there's no freight, or you will sit in Atlanta where there's no parking at the terminal, and they've been banned from the truckstop at the top of the hill. If this really is a Marten driver, and he CAN prove he's getting these miles, then I want proof. This proof will give me what I need for a discrimination lawsuit against them, plus get them in trouble with quite a few equal rights agencies.

I used to work for Marten. I got about 2200 miles a week tops and that was over a year ago. I now drive for another company that gets me around 3000 miles a week. It IS possible if you get a combination of regular loads and brokered loads. Marten does not put it's drivers on brokered loads. As a matter of fact, Marten brokers some of their own loads out. That's why drivers sit. Because freight HAS picked up. Just not for Marten drivers.

And how many miles do you have in same amount of time? LOLOLOL guaranteed not as many. You may have put that many miles on your truck BUT you haven't been paid for ALL of them....LOL So who has the LAST laugh NOW? How does it feel to be robbed out of 10%++ of your miles every week? Just Askin? And how many days you been home in the last 5 Weeks? Just Askin Again? And if i take my home time out of the 5 weeks its about 3600 or 3700 a week.

This "I drive more miles than you do" gets really old, really fast guys. Lets move on to something else, ain't nobody gonna win! It's like fishing stories, mines always bigger than yours, but really, who cares?
Now on to more important things: Which truck stops have the best coffee and pie?!:biggrin_25523:

truth about Marten The Company, Free labor (sweeping out trlrs, and you washing their truck). You pay $1.00 for ANY T-check. yes that includes lumpers and washout checks. Detention pay is a slap in the face. If you get it? You unload a truck, you get pennies per case. I forgot what the rate is for unloading for drivers. I dont do it. :) Electric log book now. my dispatcher has tried 3 different times to get me home now. right now i will be 7days late getting home. I couldnt do the run because of the log book. They are still learning how to plan trips for electric log book. They took away the $50 missed hometime. You can figure that out. :) The per-diem pay, and so called fair pay rate that alot of us was forced to take. I never wanted per-diem.
Miles? up and down depending on where you are. Now that i am on electric. Miles is a joke. but i still bring home $300-$600 week.
if someone in the office dont correct issues about customers and that electric log. They will lose loads Very fast. Fresh Express for example. i sat 7 hrs. not good for a electric. when i left that pick-up. every hour i got a message. Del ok? LOL. To bad you cant use the qualcom driving anymore.

I don't think it is Randy, the grammar is to correct. Randy would be working at Jiffy lube if it wasn't for Daddy!!:biggrin_255:
