Why I’ll probably never kill a 30” buck unless it’s the first one I see - my dad, granddad and the uncles were Old Testament about putting meat on the ground — weren’t poor, just nobody had any money but we ate good

 

Hard times create hard men...the cycle of weak men is coming around.

 

Never did much hunting, got most of our meat while cutting firewood. Camo and tree stands are a marketing gimmick in my opinion.

I think the weak men are here, the tough men are infants right now.

If sidewalk sissydom is far left, what would be far right? MGTOW? To me, those guys all seem like a bunch of angry butthurt losers who are sore at women because women find them unattractive. Still sissified, IMO. Far right would be the professional A Hole types who are out to misuse and abuse as many women as they can. WEAKNESS. So, who’s tough?

You probably heard Jordan Peterson speech on “becoming a monster in order to defend against monsters.” I can see this happening to @PoleCrusher. Play time is over. He will probably become walking Death. Same guy, but more MENACING. No announcements, no threats, but worlds more dangerous.

With all the cashless bail stuff going on here, and all the other stuff happening as we speak, the tough Men, are going to come from the guys who are in their late teens to early thirties right now. These are the quiet guys who aren’t popping off at the mouth mad at the world, blaming others for things that happened in their lives, the guys who can actually take personal responsibility. WSHTF, women will flock to those Men who are comfortable with walking in Hell.

 

One of the new young fellows last summer at the quarry open carried. Kind of a head scratcher in that environment, but whatever.
One day I said that I could disarm him pretty easy.
"Oh yeah, I'd like to see you try!"
OK, drop the mag and clear the weapon.
He did so, holstered, spread his arms "go for it old man!"
I just did.

 

I can agree with that.

To me, tough men are the type that'll take no crap when things get rough. They also won't backstab or step on others to try and get ahead or out of a bad situation. I guess that ties in with taking responsibilty.

 

Planted 8 of these Saturday. Get some fencing done before freeze up.
