For you northern guys- how do the B-trains do in the snow?
I was following one yesterday downgrade in packed snow, he was creeping along then started trying to get whoah'd up and over to let me by.("NO NO NO I'm good!") every time he'd hit the brakes one of the drums on the lead would boil steam and he'd start to train wreck.

Was it a newer trailer? Don't know anything about disk brakes... but they'll get squirrely on you if your not gentle just like anything in the snow. I try to heat them up before a downgrade or curves. The one that was steaming was prolly the only one that worked proper that's why it went squirrelly on him. Easy does it don't panic is all.

Hard to tell it was pretty snow gross, not old though. I figured only one was working on the lead, maybe ice packed the others or something. Every time that thing would kick out the drives and try to make a Z I expected the driver to have a medical emergency or at least soil himself.

    Learned something new recently.
Last night, heard about an old school metal band called “Attila” fronted by the Piano Man, Billy Joel. And here, I always thought he did old woman music.

His partner in Attila was John, the bartender who got the piano man his drinks for free. And the waitress practicing politics was John’s wife Elizabeth, who ran off with Joel and ended Attila. Interesting. Bet this song is about her too.

Wonder how long Davey was in the Navy…

Well he has a brake problem. Pup should start to stop before lead trailer.

My advise with multi axle trailers or multiple trailers is this simply. The tractor handles different.

Long single flat 5 axle rig, your carrying weight on the drives.

8 axle rig and 2 short trailers your pulling more weight and carrying less on the drives.
