I feel like a freaking idiot. I've been with Swift for 8 months now and broke both of my fairings. I feel awful about it. I broke the right side 2 months in, and just broke the left trying to turn around to set up. I slid my tandems to the back before turning when I should've done it after. I'm a freaking moron. I have no other accidents on my record. Will this affect me getting a better job in the future?

No, won't affect you very much. Any company that won't hire you because of that, you don't won't to work for anyway.

If that’s the worst thing you have done in 8 months I wouldn’t worry about it. Learn from it and move on.
Rideandrepair, LilRedRidingHood, bzinger and 8 others Thank this. -
That plastic crap shouldn’t even be on a truck. A mega may care, a small carrier that doesn’t have those things may not.Rideandrepair, Canadianhauler21, austinmike and 5 others Thank this.

I know a guy that did the same as you. He did a fake repair with silicone and white spray paint.
Truck owners will think that's disgusting and dishonest, but the guy wasn't fired and found a new job with ease.Rideandrepair, bzinger, austinmike and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah no other accidents other than breaking both fairing. No backing accidents because I always GOAL. Especially multiple times when Im unsure. I'm about to call my driver leader now to tell her. I don't want them to say it was unreported/ I lied about it.Rideandrepair, LilRedRidingHood, bzinger and 5 others Thank this.

Fairing damage is inconsequential for a Swift driver. Have you seen what other Swift drivers have done? Haha. Don’t worry about it and keep making that bank!
Rideandrepair, LilRedRidingHood, Canadianhauler21 and 6 others Thank this. -
Thanks
Rideandrepair, Boondock, N00bLaLoosh and 2 others Thank this.
