While there is some truth of this it's also the government being cheap. Of the 9 counties I drove through yesterday night only 1 actually salted the roads.
Didn't even get enough snow on the west side of the state to be bad, but without any salt down the fastest I got all night was 45 mph. Heck, it was warm enough for the salt to work great.Last edited: Nov 19, 2022

I watched part of the news coverage of the incoming lake effect snow storm
facinating since I’m from Florida .
But this is just like the hurricanes
You have several days advance notice .
