Michigan Pileup

Blamed on lake effect snow and difficult driving conditions. No! It’s ####### drivers. Simple.

 

20 to 25 vehicle pileup reported in Michigan
Had to take a detour out of Grand Rapids after my pickup because of that quagmire!

 

While there is some truth of this it's also the government being cheap. Of the 9 counties I drove through yesterday night only 1 actually salted the roads.
Didn't even get enough snow on the west side of the state to be bad, but without any salt down the fastest I got all night was 45 mph. Heck, it was warm enough for the salt to work great.

 

Man....those folks better slow it down over there! Winter driving accidents came in with authority this season!

I watched part of the news coverage of the incoming lake effect snow storm

facinating since I’m from Florida .
But this is just like the hurricanes
You have several days advance notice .
So why is everyone still out randomly driving around in a blizzard ?

 

No choice.

 

I watched some utube's of NY / Buffalo area last night.

We we're just thinking how actually F stupid does one have to be to tempt fate in those conditions?
