Yeah, from what I saw in the shop, our branch does a lot of the medium-to-large forklifts, and a lot of boom and scissor lifts.

Our rental business is bangin', too.
About 15 Yale forklifts (rental returns) out in the lot waiting to be PMI'd and returned to the available pool.

I'm gonna be the fourth guy in the shop, everyone else is a roadie.

They have to pull guys off the road to do small stuff. Right now one shop guy is rebuilding an engine, and the other two are doing a mast replacement on a big diesel forklift, so if I get "stuck" doing PMI/PDI for the rest of my career, that would be fine with me.

Sounds like a Michigan thing. Probably something people came up with to keep themselves from going insane cause they are shut in for 5 months.

When I lived in Port Huron, MI, I met some people who were CRAZY about euchre. They were always trying to get me to play. I never did, I'm not much of a card player.

A couple of them were pretty hard core, and participated in some sort of "euchre league", where it was heavily implied that the participants played for MORE than just "bragging rights".

They would cross the bridge to play like-minded Canadians a couple times a month.

I had to come in and ditch the sweat pants.

The OM was like," I told you, you wouldn't need those."

It's 27° outside, and I'm sitting in my living room, drinking coffee, and burning fossil fuels to beat the band.

I could SERIOUSLY get used to this "not driving a truck" thing.

In a couple minutes I'm gonna get up outta this chair, and put additional strain on the electrical grid by cooking some eggs and potatoes.

And on top of that, toaster activation will be authorized.

    Suck it, Greta.
