The town or city you're closest to will let us know your hiring area. Trucking companies have defined hiring areas.

OK, that helps. We'll try to find companies that hire drivers near San Antonio.

Look. I know Chinatown does great work around here and is a valuable resource.

And I know I'm speaking from a place of great privilege within this industry.

But if I were you? I'd quit trucking before I'd work for one of the companies that would be willing to hire you at this point. It's gonna be a really, really long road back to respectability, and personally? I couldn't do it.

But maybe you're stronger or more patient than I am.

It doesn't matter where he goes, its all going to come down to what he puts into it. Most drivers ain't gonna start at the top of the food chain. They gotta take some lumps. Every company has complainers and ambassadors and their ain't nothing wrong with working at "bottom feeder companies." It's a job, and when he moves on to greener pastures, the time at a bottom feeder counts as experience.....so there's value to them. You're speaking from a place of great privilege as you say, and I can respect that. I'm speaking from a place of making mistakes, taking lumps, and even working at bottom feeders. It gets better for the OP over time. He just has to clean up a couple of things and he'll be fine.
