    Wow. This is the gift that keeps on giving. I just discovered that Loves points expire after 6 months. I was shot in March and just returned to work yesterday. I go to use my card and it's shut down. Points are 0. Nobody at Loves to speak with. They take the weekends off. Nobody even seems to care.

    I use those points to supply the truck with the things I need for work. Now I can't use them for anything.

    I guess on Monday I'll see how this goes but I'm not holding out much hope.

    Yea, thanks. I already got that. I was in recovery for 8 months. 6 months was when I was just barely able to stay at my house during the day suffering from PTSD anxiety and panic attacks. That would have required me go to a Loves nowhere near my house back in August.

    And to think I was a diamond member for 2.5 years straight. Now nothing.

    I gave up ~80 dollars worth of points. The closest Loves to were I live is about 40 miles. Round trip in my gas guzzler, time, and lack of really needing anything, made me just say screw it and I let them go. I should have used them up the day I quit driving but I didn't realize I'd be sitting on my ### this long. lol.

    Dang. That's s tough break there. If they are unable to fix it, the goodnrhing about Love's is that it won't take long tonbuild it back up. They dish out points very generously.

    Even though it clearly states on the terms on the back of the card that points would expire, i would definitely call someone in okc hq and explain the situation…

    Here is an update on this.

    I got an email yesterday from comments@loves asking me to get another card and give the number. Then scan the 3 receipts from fueling that day and send to them. I did that and they said it would be 3-5 business days before a decision would be made.

    I got an email at 10am this morning, my request was approved and all points have been returned to my card.

    You were shot and you survived? I mean the whole Loves points thing sucks, but you were shot and survived. A bullet penetrated your body and you didn't die, or suffer from a severe disability that would keep you from continuing on with your life. That's truly a miracle! Glad you're still with us!
