Dealing with an incompetent agent with the brokerage I've been doing a steady run 2-3 times a week. The 1st agent was good. If a load got pushed back a day he'd call and email us and send over a new rate con. Good load, especially when I deliver to jersey city. Then I bounce back across 78 to Bethlehem. Only adds 15mi extra for the round. Or if I'm empty it pays good enough to dead head 110 mi and pick it up. Delivers 10mi from the yard.
So anyways, about 2 weeks ago I went down empty to grab it and when I get there they said the load doesn't pick til the next day. This new agent never emailed or called, nothing, no communication at all. The girls in the office said your broker called you and said that......Um no the broker did not. After going back and forth with a few different people we got a whooping 300 for their #### up.
So this past Friday we get an email saying the load we originally had for today got pushed back to Tuesday. Got a new rate con, cool no big deal. So 10am this morning dad gets a call saying "hey are you there yet?'
Huh WTF you said it was pushed to Tuesday and even sent an updated rate con. "Yeah I can be down there by 1pm."
I honestly think this girl has no ####ing clue what she's doing. And the kicker is she says we need to communicate better
I always call and email + use their tracker app. Will email her and won't get a response for a few days even.
None of this happened with the guy that was the 1st agent we dealt with.
Time to go over her head and see if we can't get another agent assigned to usLast edited: Nov 21, 2022

July 19th, hung a new dryer on in Albert Lea, MN. Not a Bendix, a cheapo OTR.
Couple that with an air compressor that's been suspect to the point I'm carrying a spare under the bunk!! Lol

Anyone familiar with these "E" type air compressors? Seems they need a special dryer unit to keep em from passing oil?
Looks like I might need the Bendix AD-9 "drop in" unit.. This could be part of my issue.?
