When starting (its a little cold 30) it skips a lot and a lot of white smoke out of the pipes (smells like fuel) it will not go past 1100 rpms with a ruff idle. After a couple minutes it will smooth out and run normal no smoke, RPMS normal like nothing happened.

No codes, there was a 21 flash code which I changed the boost pressure sensor because I had another truck act up with that code and it went away with the new sensor. That code came an went a bunch of times. Code hasnt came back yet.

Im not the driver but when I start it up and move it around it doesnt seem to act the same way when its been warmed up.

Leaking injector dripping fuel is most likely the culprit.

So once it burns off fuel in the cylinder then it will run normal. Anyway to identify the injector?

That is correct. You can pull the manifold and the culprit will have a wet exhaust port. But you need to do that after it’s sat. You may can tell with a cylinder cut out test. Or you can pull all six and have them checked.

You can also check the temperature on the exhaust manifold of each cylinder with an infrared thermometer or you can touch each with you hand once you start the engine. the one with faulty injector with have a big difference in temperature. You need to do this quick before engine smooths out.
