Trucking Pay-Numbers don't lie

O.K. people I will say to you and any other person that thinks that if you become a trucker that you will make a s-it load of money .It is all about if you are ment to be a truck driver any one can drive but it takes a real driver to be a real truck driverif you are man or woman so if you think that you are a real truck driver now just because you have been driving for a few mo. then you need to look years head of you and see if you are still driving a truck you must realy love driving and love what you do . You should be the person that you want to be if it is a driver or a doctor it takes a strong person to be a truck driver a person that being alone on the road for days and weeks at a time .I have done it for 25 years as a 18 wheeler driver and I am proud of what I am and what I do .So to the real driver I say hang in there I did. I have no delusions that I'm making "big" bucks.

You can call the time wasted, if you want. But I take my 10 break. Yes, I'm a candy ###. I've put my time in..paid for everything I own. I'm coasting now, and don't get in a hurry for no #### body.

I will agree that I wasted about 4 hours Friday morning, that chapped my ###. Then another 2 that afternoon...just to piss dispatch off and call it even.

I don't wanna die rich, or with the most toys. I just wanna grow old peacefully.

 

Fer fun, we could run down to Toccapola to watch and see if anybody runs the stop sign! I could sit and watch for hours......

Did you get any of the info on the accident on the Natchez Trace Friday morning ????

It was a big truck, and was on the news. I didn't get all of the story, and can't find any info online.

You dont know who you are talking to so it's okay for you to assume. I learned to use my BRAIN to make money. If I can make more money driving a truck all day than busting my rump in a nasty dirty environment, what do you think the wiser choice would be??

If you are trying to imply that Im lazy, you have definately got me tagged wrong. Choosing not to labor my life away for bread crumbs isnt lazy, it's smart. You chose the same profession as I have. Are you a typical American who likes to sit on his butt?
