I've had 2 trailers stuck at the receiver for almost 4 weeks!!! They are only willing to pay $25 a day for trailer detention. How do I get my trailers back without involving insurance and/or losing the load?

Twice I’ve entered and got my trailer.

Pickup for Burlington coat factory in CA was instructed it was a 24 hour drop trailer. At hour 30 I went in and picked up my trailer. Great fus at the guard shack but I was getting my trailer.

Same deal picking up glass windows. Was told 24 hours, at like 26 hours shipper said maybe tomorrow. I went in and got my trailer. Forced them to unload the 1 pallet they had in it.

Dude just go there and take your #### trailers back. Hell, tell them if it's hooked in the dock still you'll be ripping that out with it.

    What's the load?

Why would you care about losing a load when its been sitting there for almost 4 weeks? Call the local Police and tell em they won't return ur trailers. They have no legal right to hold it.

If he tries that, most likely the police will not do anything and say it's a civil matter. Calling the police would be a last resort at this point.
