Waiting on New Trucks thread.

Not to bad of a price since it does have the APU installed already. 20K on it not even broke in.

 

I thought it was a good deal with the APU installed and having a Cummins in it. Compared to this one, it's a steal...

I just think this is a precursor of new truck prices peaking. It's like a whack a mole of new trucks becoming available because buyers "backed out."

I'm not sure whatever one else is seeing but the reefer market looked pretty solid this week. I book out as far in advance as I can but I took a peak what was shipping today and I looked pretty good volume wise with decent rates.

 

New truck pricing has peaked.... My local KW dealer called me last week and asked if I would be interested in a tractor the buyer backed out of. He said he has had 11 buyers back out of their orders in the past 2 months.

 

Maybe i'm just a cheapskate or out of touch, but that's a 160k truck tops to me especially with 20,000 miles on it.

 

Chatted with a very angry driver the other day while fuelling. His company bought him a 2023 579 , he dragged me over to look at his baby mirrors that he claims are useless. I’ve seen bigger mirrors on a pick up lol

 

I would swap my parachutes for the baby mirrors any day.

 

Apparently on Canadian salty roads they get dirty very fast
