Make sure you don’t have a crack or something in the line from the tank to the injector pump .
If it sucks air it won’t pull the fuel
or you could install a lift pump to help move the fuel from the tank to the injection pump .W923 Thanks this. -
do you have power to the fuel solenoid? start with the basics

W923 Thanks this. -
As star rider said check the power to the solenoid…
These pumps have a thumbscrew on the front side of the solenoid down low, turn it clockwise to override the solenoid and make sure it’s working.
Once you screw it in the engine WILL NOT STOP until you screw it back out.
Make sure the fuel filter is full of fuel.
Engine should have top stop injectors, how did he set the injectors…?? Should be 0 lash on the A-B-C code…Oxbow and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
Is the filter on the pump? If so maybe connect a hose to it and drop it in a bucket of fuel.

Are you sure the crank on the air compressor isn’t busted or something in the accessory drive. That your pump is actually spinning.
It’s only one of three things.
Blockage
Sucking air
Not pumping -
Jubal Early Times Thanks this.

How are the injectors set?
All fuel line fittings tight?
Mechanic readjust the valves when installing the injectors? If so what are they set at? Just trying to cover all bases…
If engine was running with that pump, and injector is only reason engine was worked on, something is for sure off.
Were valves & injectors set using the firing order, or set using the A/B/C code…?
Take the valve covers off and look with a flashlight and see if the push tubes are bent. Even with Jakes you should be able to look down the side of the push tubes….
