I have an 07 379 sh, blower motor has been making a loud vibration and general rattle noise for the last few months, which got worse the higher the setting, but otherwise worked. Now that it’s -25 and snowing I’d like a little more piece and quiet. I took the old one out and found the wheel slot was rotted and loose, this causing the rattle. I had another blow motor and wheel so replaced it, I turned it on and it continued to rattle In the first and second setting before stopping completely. I took it out and found I had the wheel slightly to far down so moved it up a mm or so, and tried again to no avail, the old one did not work again either.

Fuses were good. What would cause it to lose power now all of a sudden?

Check that the plug for the blower motor is good. Pretty common for those to crap out.

Truck side Plug had some corrosion, used a little contact cleaner and tested again. Started working so far. Didn’t really fix anything so still some concern but will see how it handles

I cut my plug off and hard wired everything. Plug looked good but still didn't work consistently so removing it was easier.
As far as the fan making noise, just put in a new one and be careful putting it in place to not bend the fan
