Society will COLLAPSE when the Toilet Paper shortage takes hold.
I get a LAUGH every time I see people going nuts over t.p. or read an gnus article about a group of zeros fighting over a pack of toilet paper at a local inconvenience store. Those are the folks that never had to discover a wiping alternative. For those engineers that fail to check their personal stock, well, Good Day.
Toilets work fine with other forms of paper: paper "towels", napkins, book pages, whereas College [not Collage] Ruled Notebook "pages" or writing papers, need a wee bit of moisture for a more relaxing adventure.
Amount for good wipe depends upon size of book (as well size of wiping area) so, for example, an atlas provides many one page dual wipe actions unless one is literally full of shaving cream, be nice and clean, shave every day and you'll always look keen"....... Paper Back Rider Books don't function very well apart from good reading material while awaiting the final wipeout of the Klingons.:fucyc:

    CHEERS!!

In my preteen years, myself and several other mafia members scoured the county roads for a 4 mile radius and got rich at 3 cents a bottle. Fast forward a few years to when a couple of us worked at a respectable size grocery chain, by name of Jitney Jungle. They had a literal mountain of deposit bottles in the store every week for the local coke plant people to sort and load up to be refilled. We howled bloody murder when the price went to a nickel, after we spent our summers collecting 3 centers. I think our cigarettes were 25 cents a pack. Almost quit smoking when they went to 30 cents, account of financial strains. But did quit when they went to $1.25 a pack for the same reason.
