Where is everyone #5

Thanks man. Over the last two months I have been turned down for too many loads because I have a step deck. And the other thing I have been running in to an issue with is not having two of the factory Great Dane steel load levelers. Who has two?

For me, it appears that the amount of flatbed freight is twice that of step deck freight when looking at just load board freight on TruckStop. When talking with a couple of direct shipper's that I haul freight for they have told me they have a 3:1 ratio of flatbed/step deck freight right now which was enough to make me park my step deck and go flatbedding again.

I feel confident that I will stay ahead pulling the skateboard. I have been quite successful financially when pulling a skateboard in the past. I know this is today, the future, but we have to make adjustments fast to be able to adapt with an ever-changing landscape.

 

Folks, I was down sick for a week. Came back to a busy week with more in future. I'm tired, but today made it worth every little bit.

 

Not quite as stupid as having breakfast in a Filipino bar that served up monkey ribs and balut washed down with San Migutters— not that I would know about such things

 

33 months in the PI. Still wouldn’t know anything about that stuff.

 

When I woke up in Butte yesterday, I had no idea that I needed a huckleberry milkshake. I think it was the 39th billboard that convinced me lol.

 

Nothing. Pipe is still setting. The owner of the pipe threatened all kinds of stuff if i didn't return it for free. Think I mentioned all that previously.

I unloaded it the next day. When I sent him the phone # where he could pick it up, he called the sherrifs department demanding they file theft charges, claiming all sorts of untruths.

Prosecuting attorney told him to kick rocks.

 

Sorry I ain't been around too much lately. Lots of hunting and hometime, then running as hard as leagalishy possible when I'm out. #'s still looking good here, but it takes hard running and hitting those places most folks don't want to go.

I agree with you on the part of hitting it hard in places where others don't want to go. I have been able to scratch out a pretty #### good year doing just that. It's not always fun or easy but it can have a financial benefit if done correctly.

Well I guess the guy doesn't really want that pipe back after all.? Seems easy enough to retrieve if it were important..

Good to see some jacka## get what they deserve once in awhile.. lol
