Did you figure out the problem?

 

I was having the same issue with my truck. I was losing response to my throttle, mostly while on the highway but also sometimes after coming to a stop. Took the truck to Volvo and they said my ribbon harness was good, that my clutch control actuator was good and that my TECU was functioning properly. When the dropped the transmission some of my gears on the main shaft and counter-shaft were wore down, so I am getting a new short transmission, basically what that means is that they are going to install a new transmission, the main gears but they are going to reuse my TECU and my range gears, oh and the quote also includes a new clutch, rear main seal, fly wheel resurfaced.
