Thanks for relaying my wishes. Always my pleasure...she was a real treat to read, and I miss seeing her posts since they always brightened my day.

6:30 on a Saturday mornin here in the hay barn. Should be in Moab. Loaded in Tulsa yesterday with sucker rod headed for Utah, and plans to spend the weekend hiking in Moab.

Got passed OKC and developed a miss with no CEL, and no smoke. Swapped fuel filters to no avail, so headed back home.

Hooked it up and #5 inj had a response time of .73, so no go. Should have set a response time slow fault, but didn't. Nontheless, she's gettin cam, rockers, injectors, and an injector harness today.
    Then haul a'ss for Utah.

It's a great Saturday mornin everybody!

I had an interesting phone call yesterday. I've got my phone set on silent so if someone calls that's not on my contact list it won't ring. Robo calls is the reason for that. Anyway, this guy calls and leaves a message telling me one of my drivers left a sht box on his step, and he didn't appreciate it. He said he was backed up to door 77 and the other guy was in door 78. He wanted me to call him so I called him. Right away he started in, and he wasn't obnoxious but he was upset, and I don't blame him one bit. I tried to explain, but I wasn't having much luck so I figured it best to let him get it out of his system. When I finally got the chance, I told him I was a one man dog and pony show and I was the only driver. I told him I had a step deck, not a van or reefer. And last, I'm home. He apologized and I told all was good.

Well, I've made a mess. Yes, i know the barn isn't the best location for engine work.

At least the cam is on top and not down in the block. That was quick

Unfortunately I have done plenty of engine work in some not-so desirable places too but whatever works and gets the job done properly.

I normally made a tent out of a 30x10 tarp and a workbench out of a sheet of plywood and milk crates when I was younger.

Bad thing about partialing across the country and back is free deck space and impulsive purchases…
