I just can't stop the water.i am continuislessy trying to chaulk, spray. Plastic mold ways to keep the water out. But even with looking at the holes at night with a flash light I can't seem to either get them all or at best get the biggest nuisance.

Which brings me to my question: is there a way to make some type of gutter system at the top or bottom of the windshield. I'm thinking a small metal gutter maybe 1/2 inch and crazy glue?

    What model truck?

freightliner/western star trucks have factory leaks at the windshield. Even after being assured that western star fixed the problem, we are still having the windshield removed and resealed.

I wonder if some high end 3M tape might work? They have been using some to hold down Solar Panels on roofs of trucks. So might be able to do something like that. Also flex seal seems to be some nice stuff.

I’ve often thought the same about a gutter on my Freightliner. Mine leaks along the top. It’s been siliconed a couple times. New seal, still leaks. Maybe a visor, with the top sealed off? The old cars all had gutters around the side windows. New ones have recessed gutters, with flush plastic covers. My Pontiac routes it to a drain tube, in left rear wheel well. Tube came loose and flooded the Truck a couple times. Must be caused by ice. I finally glued it together. Small gutter or drip edge might work. Maybe a piece of vinyl j channel, glued on with silicone?

I used duck tape to the body and overlapped the windshield gasket. Works for awhile and when leak comes back apply more duck tape. I found white duck tape at Home Chepo.

Need to know what truck you’re working with.

Probably just need to order new windshield rubbers. Have a glass guy bring you new glass. Install the new rubbers with 3M 5200 adhesive, then, have the glass guy install your new windshield glass. Plus, install new windshield wipers to protect your new glass, at the same time. You’ll feel like you’re in a new truck, when you have new glass. And, windshield rubbers don’t last forever. They have to be refreshed, like any rubber exposed to the elements.
