Made it home yesterday afternoon and surprised my little boy. He didn't know I was home or even close by. I never tell him so I can always surprise him. It never gets old. I was looking over some flatbed and step deck loads yesterday and didn't see anything that I liked well enough to skip a weekend at home with my sick son so I parked it and took the family out for dinner at El Mexicano in Waxahachie TX. If you are ever passing through give them a try. Two locations and they do not disappoint.
We watched some soccer today and played some video games and did nothing but hang around the house all day and tonight we are having burgers and fry's from the wife's Blackstone that I bought her for her birthday. Good stuff. Y'all have a great weekend and be safe. See ya in the road come Monday.
Here is a throwback pic from January of 2012 when I brought my first Freightliner home. It was an ex-Ryder truck that had a 27' box on the back. Bought it directly from Ryder and American Bobtail in Royse City, TX did the frame work as part of the purchase. Turned out super nice. 330HP Cat C7 with a 6-speed Allison and 4.88 gears on low pro 22.5's. Got 10.2mpg pulling my 4-car wedge and made me some good money. Good times.pete781693, cke, dwells40 and 12 others Thank this. -

Pete. I've been kind of looking for 3.36's with discs for a year or so, but they'd be 1500 miles away and I just didn't have enough ambition to pursue it. Delivered to this place this morning and casually asked if they had any Pete cutoff's and low and behold, a few minutes later it was being cut off where I asked and loaded. Don't really need it all, but always like to have spare stuff just in case and I felt the price was fair.
I didn't even look close enough to answer this. I know before I swap them onto my truck, at least the rear will have a locker.
Now I just need to find an air ride front axle with discs. I think 386 shares the same bits at T-660's.cke, Feedman, thatsright and 5 others Thank this. -
Already read it's a Pete cutoff.
Is that the Low Air Leaf, or Low Low Air Leaf?
The Z-springs look deep!!
I 2nd you on the rear axle diff locker..
May have bested @stwik the time he was stuck bobtail in the spd yard.. lol
Last week in Sanibel, because of the ridiculous loading method, we had to load to the rear.. Had to have the pettybone give me a tug inches from pavement..
