Unknown damage to hood of company truck, do I report it?

    Hello everyone. While doing my pretrip I came across damage to my hood and was wondering if I needed to report it. It doesn't affect safety or anything. I'm only wondering because I'm currently on company probation and I don't want to look like I'm trying to hide anything.

    Whats the damage? Small scratch? Half the hood missing?

    If its enough where your concerned about it. It should probably be reported.

    It's a small crack under the headlight. Probably from a rock or something. Idk.

    Minor incidents. Back in June I caused a couple thousand dollars worth of damage(according to safety) to a building, back in September I bumped into a wall while backing into a dock at a Walmart, and a month ago I broke my hood mirror attempting to 90 degree back into a parking space. It's a lot I know but at least I can say they each taught me a lesson.
