Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

If anyone has a desktop pc that they don't need anymore I am willing to make a deal. This one is more or less toast! Very few sites I can go on virus scan says I have over 500 worms or trojans. Let me know I need a pc and Hope now has to have one for projects for her business ed class. Or anyone knows how to rid a pc of these things please let me know I will send you my number so you can walk me through it.

 

What's going on guys. Going back to the doctor to see if he will release me to drive again. Central wants nothing to do with me until they get the signed release.

Any new stuff going on at Central?
I doubt I would get the same DM I had when I got put on medical leave. I had great miles before when others were really struggling. I kinda felt bad actually.

I'm up in the air of going back to central or trying a new company. I hve just under a year of actual drive time. I imagaine I could go almost anywhere cept the few that require 2-3years. If I get miles like I had before I would go back in a heart beat..But I have a feeling that wont happen.

Who knows maybe Central black balled me on the dac..I don't think there is anything they could of done cept the medical thing. Cause I was never late and never had an accident my time there.

Funny as it sounds I was all prepared to never drive again until I drove to the doctors office couple weeks ago and saw a couple really nice trucks..brought back the good memories lol. I need to remember the bad too like having to fight for my loads, getting stuck on a 4 day weekend with a 450mile load and all the stuff the pulled from us towards the end of last year.

 

Spending the evening in Albert Lea Minnesota. Went to my 99 this morning slipping and sliding a little bit. Then drove 120mi to my next 01 slipping and sliding even more being empty. Snow, Ice, 40mph wind gusts... wheeee! Scaled it, looked at the weather on my route and decided to let this little storm get ahead of me instead of driving right back into it.

Hey Jess, I also heard that Alaska is nice in the summer, both weeks of it.

Widow, if you have backups of critical data, miscellaneous software and OS discs you can format the drive, reinstall, and start clean.

 

a wipeout and clean windows install gets you fixed good as new. that's your best bet.

 

Thanks for all the advice I think that's the only way. Iusse is no money to get the os. I'm gonna have pc withdrawal and lose my pics and resume. Going to be that much harder to get a job when I get released to work from the doc!

 

Did you try downloading a free virus protection.......Like AVAST or AVG and seeing if they will clean it up. Are the Trojans corrupting everything you download?????

backup everything first. and try the avast. you can also get microsoft security essentials. free. i don't have the link but you can google it. it's what i've been using for virus protection.

what kind of pc? manufacture or homebuilt?

 

I spent three years in AK, Air Force Elmendorf AFB. Nice duty and I wouldn't think twice about doing it again. Alaska is a life changer...don't fret it.

 

A sad day here in Atlanta. A very good friend of our daughter Hope's died this morning after being shot in the head last week b/c of his older brother getting caught up in a drug deal gone bad. Nick was sleeping and got shot and left them all this morning. I can't even begin to understand the pain his family must be going through. Had to pick Hope up from school when she found out she has been lying in bed crying ever since and I have no idea how to help the pain she feels stop and it is killing me to see my baby so upset. This little boy helped here when she was in a cast in the fall carry her books, her lunch tray whatever she needed. They became very close. All I can do is sit and watch her cry and it is killing me!
