I lived in my truck for two years and when I needed a few days off I’d stay sometimes with friends or family or sometimes I’d find a safe place to drop the trailer and bobtail to a state park and rent a campsite or if I wanted to spend some money I’d rent a cabin at a state park.
a cabin on a lake at a state park
Sure beats a motel room anyday.Pens4Stanley and Chinatown Thank this. -
I’ll need a place to live though bro. I mean I could stay in the truck, but that has to be pretty mentally challenging after awhile. Especially since they require 14 days out.

Stay in a hotel/motel for your time off. Hundreds of drivers are doing this. Carry a folding electric bicycle in the sleeper and use it for doing your food shopping or whatever.
@Lennythedriver can give good advice on the electric bicycle.Last edited: Dec 12, 2022
