    Hi, Here is my drama:
I had a "CARELESS" ticket in 2007 while involved in a minor accident driving my personal car in FL. I wasn't a CDL holder at time and was doing 5 mph approaching one intersection when the car in front suddenly stopped and I "touched" the car in front of me. The damage was minimal, just replacement of the backing sensor of the bumper, less than $ 300 accord to the accident report.
When the cop arrived her wrote me one CARELESS ticket, that in FL means is your fault of some accident , but is not the same of "RECKLESS" in other states.
The thing is, I'm team driver and when we are applying for a new job and they find out this CARELESS citation they freak, they think is the same of RECKLESS. They assume that i had a RECKLESS ticket and don't want even look our case.
We've been driving team and this issue is holding us back very bad.
I have the copy of this accident report scanned, and I would like to know if is possible do something to change this status. The ticket is paid off, I did traffic school, but didn't fight the ticket (terrible mistake). Today we are paying a high price.
Do you guys know any good lawyer in FL that can help me with this issue ?
Do you think thar is anything to do the get it "better"?

I wasn't an CDL holder at time so I didn't paid the necessary attention to preserve my driver record and today....

    Thanks for the advice.

In today's job market the companies hold the upper hand, unless your willing to spend the big bucks for an attorney, your SOL.

YEah, i probably will spend this money for an good attorney since i don't have much exit in this economy to get out of trucking...i'm still trucking, even with this record, but you know...3 years will be next december, i will probably hold tight where i'm and try to keep it up...
Do you guys have any suggestion about a VERY good CDL attorney in FL?
