    I figured it would be battery powered. But after seeing how badly the pickup trucks failed after doing pickup stuff (loaded down and towing a trailer), an EV semi would have a range of 200 miles at 80k, then an hour and a half recharge. Imagine how long it would take to run 1000 miles? The only thing that would be able to run cross country would be a train.

    The travel centers would be extremely messy for EVs, even on short trips.
