2003 W900 C15
Hello everyone
A few days ago I noticed my fuel restriction gauge kept rising and rising until it reached 20 vacuum I decided to change both fuel filters. So once I did that it started reading normal at 4 vacuum, but then slowly I noticed every 2K miles it would rise about 5 vacuum until it reached 30 then I started to lose power. So again I changed the filters it became normal got power back but now after 5 days 3k miles later I am reading 15 vacuum.
has anyone had a similar issue
Where should I start looking
Help me please

Cut open the filters and see what’s inside. Drain the bottom of the tanks off. You probably got some cruddy fuel somewhere. It can take a round of filters to clean up a bad batch.
Oxbow, blairandgretchen and Adamali21 Thank this. -
I will cut the filters on the weekend, one guy scared me and told me he had the same issue and it was injectors
-
Weird part as well is whenever I fill my tanks full my restriction becomes worst.Snailexpress Thanks this.

You most likely got bad fuel. Anytime you when fueling you notice the pump is slow, stop fueling and get fuel at another pump or elsewhere. When the filter at the pump becomes clogged, contaminants get past the filter into your tank.Adamali21 Thanks this.

Yeah have to figure this issue over the weekend
I will add 911 to my tanks to see if that helps out -
Your just going to have to run the bad fuel though it and keep changing the fuel filters until it clears up. This stuff helps its expensive but it works after and keeps fuel filters clean. I use it constantly.Adamali21 Thanks this.

Do you think truck stops have that additive

Never have seen any. Google them and give them a call. They are nice people and not pushy

I had a similar issue with my n14, could not find the problem, replaced an injector, fuel lines, ecm and fuel pump. Fixed it by disconnecting the hose before the fuel filter and blowing air through it. Still a mystery to me what exactly the problem was
