    You are correct, I miss typed 60" instead of 70".

    I've owned a 42" & 70" flat top..
    Talking integral bunks here, they are label as
    Flat top 42", 48", 70" and later years had a 58"
    Mid roof 48", 58", 70" & I've seen one oddball 24"
    Condo 48", 58", 70" and MY 2001+ had the optional 84".

    Sure there are more well versed FLD's guy than I, but I love these trucks & soak up everything I can about them. :thumbup:

    Those FLDs were the best truck Freightliner ever made. IMO. Like a fool, I sold my 97 with over a million miles on it rather than do an inframe. Bought a Columbia because I though I'd get better mileage with an Aero. Didn't happen.

    The Columbia was a disappointment. I was forced into one, because the company was trading the FLD I had. Brutal ride and generous squeaking/rattles.

    The FLD’s were the last of the north American style spec trucks FL built. The classic old school solid riveted cab is what made it great. The Columbia to present have been nothing but finicky high maintenance fragile European cars on truck frames.
